Schiedler Family Nursery Inc. is A wholesale only nursery  located in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley approximately 35 miles south of Portland. We are very proud to say that this property has been in our family since 1904. It was purchased by my grandparents and was operated as a typical turn of the century family farm. The farm raised various grain crops as well as assorted animals such as horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and goats. This was repeated by my father when he took over the farm in the mid 1940’s after WWII.

Then in 1976 Larry and Laura were married and purchased the farm. Larry worked at a larger retail nursery {Al’s Fruit and Shrub Center} in Woodburn from 1972 to 1988. In about 1980 we started with two small covered green houses raising some vegetable plants which we sold to Al’s.  We have evolved over the 30+ years since we started, growing many varieties of woody ornamental plants both field grown and containers in our many covered green houses we now have. We attribute our success to hard work, our very committed staff, and many loyal customers and friends that have been with us for many years. We look forward to meeting new friends and customers in the near future.
